I am not sure what you mean by dont worry. For me personally paying $4000 out of pocket under my current circumstances is a lot. I agree,the PD may not become current soon unless something weird happens. But I am pointing out the fact that it is not a simple decision for most especially where companies or families with resource limitations are involved.
I really dont see how people are treating this 'holding' as a sign of good things to come. It may be, but the probability is very small. This move is more to fortify their moves by screwing us more.

Numbers USA people are angry right wing citizens.
Calls from legal aliens who can't vote won't move lawmakers one bit. Money and votes are the only 2 things that matter to politicians.
Pressure groups and lobbyists have far more reach and influence. IV as a group can use lobbyists and other influence to get a lot more done. Individual phone calls are a waste.

I quite do not get what you are asking. You want to know if buying a call on an ETF that has had a drawdown with an expiration of less than 15 days will be profitable?
There are various option strategies and I usually trade spreads as the most basic strategy. I rarely if ever buy just calls that too with such low theta (<15 days). I usually trade 4 legged spreads like the butterfly, iron condor or at least bull/bear calls/puts.
Most of the time I am long vol (vega) with a strip strap or straddle. Sometimes I am short vega but hedge it with an exotic like a digital, or binary on the vix. I always go for optimal delta hedge and often construct synthetics. Never plain vanilla calls and puts unless I am hedging something else in a different universe with an option.
If you can explain better what your strategy is I can make comments. If possible clearly state the greeks on the strategy so I can visualize it.

According to the I485 inventory they published, there is what.. 400 cases between these two date, why only move 400 cases per month = 4800 per year when the annual quota for EB3 ROW is what.. around 30,000?
Never mind the spillover, can ROW just get its normal quota at least?

As per my research, this restiriction is there for almost every one (Atleast the one i checked). BUt added advantage with ICICI ot tata AIG, of bajaj allianze is that medical emergency even if it is out of pre-existing conditions are covered. where as the insurance companies in the US do not cover them.
I used ICICI for my parents. My dad had to use the insurance unfortunately. Due to his age (60 yrs) they paid only part of the expense, but i did not have to pay from my pocket except the prescription medicins.
In another case, one of my friend had purchased insurance for his mother here in US, she was diabetic, and unfortunately her kidneys failed when she was in US. Insurance company did not pay anything, as it was due to pre-existing condition.
There are advantages and disadvantages with both. You need to choose based on your condition.

This is how it works. If you file for your 485 now, the next thing that is expected from you is to wait for the receipt, that would take 3 to 4 weeks. Then you will get finger print notice, that might come in three months time. Once you are done with all this then check the processing date of the respective service centre where you have filed your 485 application.
Now coming to the question of unmarried filers, if the principal aplicant's date of marriage is beofe his or her 485 adjudication of adjustment of status, there are two ways principal applicant file for 485 for his or her spouse. The spouse can travel to US on H4 and file for 485 or the principal applicant can do consular processing. Now consular processing is good for those cases whosw w PD is current but since retrogression can kick in anytime it is better to travel to US on H4 and file for 485.
Another important aspect is if you file 485, EAD, Advance Parole and you use EAD, you loose your H1 status, hence on EAD you can not bring in your wife. So unmarried filersn it goes like thisn you go ahead and fileyour 485, then go to your home country brng in your wife on H4n as you have aleast s months of time if NSC, TSC or CSC 485 processing is not current and it is hown 1 month for receipt of 485, three months of time for getting the finger print notice and you can postpone by another month of FP by rescheduling it to another month. you are asking for EB2 guys in 2004,2005,2006,2007 to wait for EB-3 guys in 2001,2002,2003,2004. Point is well taken. Its a humane way of handling things.
Perhaps they should not make EB1 current, let them wait a year or two while 2004 EB2 and 2001 EB3 get their green cards.
Ask this question to yourself. If you were an EB2 person with 2004 priority with a spouse and kid, Would you be willing to wait few more years to get your green cards so that a 2001 EB-3 shall get his faster and may not care /appreciate your sacrifice?
Your position helps yourself and nobody else. I dont have any problems 2001 EB3s getting approved before 2004 EB2's. Thats the way it should be, but not at the expense of EB2's. Feeling of entitlement is not adequate justification. USCIS has established a way to convert to EB2 status, if you have sufficient experience. You can certainly try that option.
I just spoke my mind, dont care if i get red dots or not. Apperantly people here are way too sensitive to an opposite point of view.

If there are 20,000 numbers that DOS thinks will not be used in the current FY; then let it distribute equally to all categories. Say if EB2 and EB3 (I) or China gets 5000 each, then obviosuly, because of a shorter queue EB2 dates would move forward beyond EB3 does. I think this is fair.
Whether a humane approach or a logic approach, it does not make sense for a EB3 (or any category) to wait for 7 years!!!

First off, i have mentioned above that this is NOT a solution to retrogression. Secondly, the USCIS does not care what we say to them, they are going to take exactly how much time they want to take to process our Green cards. All I was suggesting was, we ask for interim relief. Now like Logiclife mentioned we are trying for smaller bits of interim relief and that is a reasonable answer. However please do not make remarks like "this person is here to make money and is not after GC". Are we not all after making money? Is that not why we want GCs? We certainly dont want the GC to frame it and keep it next to our other trophies do we? Then why are people accusing me of wanting to "make money"? The problem with some people on this forum is the lack of respect for an alternate view. It is one thing to disagree and it is another to make ridiculous off topic remarks about what someone said.
Getting a GC will ensure that you can sustain your money making efforts in the USA. By getting diverted to interim relief for spouse, people will be able to make money, but not for too long without a GC. That's why the focus should be on an action that permanently fixes the situation, rather than a band-aid approach.
